Water Serpent

Here is a really fun concept of a dragon I had the pleasure of working on for my portfolio class. I love dragons and I've always wanted to do a big dragon piece. This concept was heavily inspired by the loch ness monster, but I took creative liberties to tell my own water dragon story. With this piece, I made the base using a combination of photo bashing and painting. Then over time I gradually painted in more detail and adjusted as I went. The scales on the dragon were also made with a combination of photos and painting.
